EIT and COST are teaming up to boost cooperation

MoU between the EIT and COST aims to identify possible synergies and complementary activities within the research and innovation.

European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has teamed up with European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) to boost cooperation between EIT and COST communities. Following up on building on the new European Research Area, new partnership shall allow deeper cooperation among innovators, scientists, research institutions and civil society to further develop innovations and seek for new market opportunities. Better integration of knowledge triangle and advancing the innovation performance across Europe can ensure sustainable growth, promote better return on public investments and generate better jobs.  

Memorandum of Understanding between the EIT and COST aims to identify possible synergies and complementary activities within the research and innovation system. The EIT Jumpstarter, which supports early innovators from Central and Eastern Europe and Southern Europe, has been selected as a pilot programme for the cooperation.
