European AI Innovation Month
The European Commission, together with the Irish Presidency of the Council, will organise a series of events as part of the European AI Innovation Month. European AI Innovation Month will begin on 14 October in Ireland with the International AI Summit and conclude on 17 November in Brussels and online with the European Apply AI Summit.
The International AI Summit will take place in Dublin on 14 October 2026 under the theme of harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) to revolutionise Europe’s competitiveness. The event will provide space to discuss, collaborate, and engage in strategic dialogue on the opportunities for the future application of artificial intelligence in Europe and globally.
The AI in Science Summit will take place on 15 October 2026 and will focus on artificial intelligence in science. The event will explore the transformative impact of AI in scientific discovery and how Europe can drive it with a distinctive and responsible approach.
The Apply AI Summit will take place in Brussels and online on 17 November 2026 as part of European AI Innovation Month. The summit will focus on accelerating the implementation of artificial intelligence in strategic sectors. It will mark the first anniversary of the adoption of the Apply AI Strategy and will showcase how trustworthy, human-centric and innovative AI can boost the competitiveness of sectors such as healthcare, mobility and the public sector.
