The EIC Accelerator Grant was awarded to 99 innovative companies. This is the largest-ever funding round.

In the October deadline was selected 99 start-ups and SMEs. Among them, one company from the Czech Republic.

On 16 December 2021, the European Innovation Council (EIC) announced the results of the October deadline for the EIC Accelerator grant. 99 innovative start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will share a total of €627 million in EU funding. This is the largest funding round in the history of the EIC Accelerator. Individual start-ups or SMEs will then receive grants and/or equity investments of up to €17.5 million.  

The results are geographically diverse, with 21 countries represented, including seven widening countries. Successful innovative projects include the Czech company MIWA Technologies, a.s., which develops smart reusable packaging which minimises waste.
