Study in Czechia

The Asia Pacific Association for International Education conference is taking place in Bangkok this year after a three-year break.

The APAIE conference offers a space for university representatives and internationalization professionals to meet, exchange experience and network. The theme of this year's conference is the sustainability of international education.

The first day of the programme was filled with pre-conference workshops, while the main programme full of lectures and discussions starts on Tuesday March 14th. Experts from Asia, Europe, USA, Latin America and Australia will address topics such as virtual learning, measuring the impact of study exchanges, the importance of international experience for building a more sustainable society, and the relationship between student mobilities and the acquisition of global competence.

The programme also includes a fair where countries present their higher education institutions and provide additional networking opportunities. It goes without saying that the Czech stand under the banner of our Study in Czechia initiative is also present in the exhibition hall. The Czech delegation consists of thirteen Czech universities, representatives of the Ministry of Education and the DZS, who have the task of presenting Czechia as an ideal study destination and a suitable partner for cooperation in education and research.

The APAIE conference is an opportunity for Czech universities to meet with their partner schools not only from the Southeast Asian region, but also to establish new partnerships that can lead to cooperation in many areas, from study exchanges to summer schools or academic lecture tours.
